
Clark Atlanta University is the recipient of a National Science Foundation ADVANCE grant to examine the recruitment, retention, promotion, and tenure of women STEM faculty at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. To complete the objectives of the grant, we are administering a survey to obtain information about the recruitment, retention, promotion, and tenure, as well as the academic climate that affects women STEM faculty at HBCUs. Therefore, we are asking that you complete the survey along with the consent form below and mail it to us. The results of the survey will be shared with the HBCUs participating in the study. Please submit your survey by April 30, 2005.
Please note that your responses will remain confidential, and the results of the survey will in no way enable others to deduce your identity or the college or university at which you are employed. The use of a coding system ensures that your responses remain confidential and provides for the anonymity of the participants. Emailed surveys will be treated with the same level of professional confidentiality and will be coded. If however, you prefer to mail the survey and consent letter, it can be mailed to the address below:
